Ghana

Come to Ghana to hunt the smallest antelope on the planet, the Royal antelope. This animal is so special that in the old days and hunters who were lucky enough to get a Royal antelope were required to present it to the king - hence the name Royal antelope. Ghana is the only country where this incredible tiny trophy can be hunted.

Fly into Accra Ghana which is easily accessible with direct flights from New York and Washington DC. You will be met at the airport by your Professional Hunter and then will drive four hours to your air-conditioned lodge near Cape Coast.

You will hunt for seven days for Royal Antelope, Maxwells duiker, and Black duiker.

Each day you will drive approximately 45 minutes to where you will be dropped off and you will do the hunt on foot so expect slow walks in the jungle of up to six hours each day.

Hunting season:

the season is from January until April. Expect hot and humid conditions of tropical Africa.

Tourism:

during the hunt you can visit interesting cultural attractions such as the Elmina castle on the coast and the canopy walk in Kakum Park.
